🚛💙 Celebrating the drivers who keep everything moving!

Last week, we had the opportunity to participate in a National Truck Driver Appreciation Week luncheon in NC and recognize the professional drivers who deliver all over the country to customers every day.

These drivers spend countless hours on the road, navigating changing conditions, tight schedules, and long miles to make sure the products and supplies we depend on arrive safely and on time.

We were so excited to take a moment to say THANK YOU, share a meal, and show our appreciation for the skill, dedication, and professionalism they bring to the job.

To every professional truck driver who helps keep our communities, stores, and supply chain moving, we appreciate you more than you know. Thank you for hauling the good stuff and for doing it safely every mile of the way! 🚛🍔👏

🚛🏆 Behind every Truck Driving Championship is a whole lot of preparation, teamwork, and pride.

From setting the course and preparing the equipment to supporting our competitors throughout the day, our local TDC takes an entire team to bring it all together.

These photos capture just a few of the moments behind the competition, from the course setup to the associates helping make the event run smoothly.

With 99 participants this year, we had an incredible turnout and an even better opportunity to celebrate the skill, safety, and professionalism of our drivers and associates.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped organize, prepare, support, and participate. Events like this are successful because people step up, pitch in, and make it happen.

🚛🏆 500,000 SAFE MILES! 🏆🚛

What an incredible accomplishment for Julius Lastrap and Josh Gavigan!

Reaching 500,000 safe miles is no small achievement. It represents thousands of hours behind the wheel, countless decisions made with safety in mind, and a consistent commitment to doing things the right way every single day.

Julius and Josh, we are so proud of the professionalism, focus, and dedication you bring to the road. Milestones like this reflect the very best of Walmart Fleet and remind us that safety is built one mile, one decision, and one trip at a time.

Please join us in congratulating both of these outstanding drivers on reaching 500,000 safe miles. Here’s to many more safe miles ahead! 💙💛

After Hurricane Isaias made landfall along Florida’s western Panhandle as a Category 2 hurricane, members of our Walmart Disaster Relief Team, including our Road Team, stepped in to help support impacted communities with essential food and water.

We are incredibly proud of the associates who answered the call and helped bring relief where it was needed most. Their willingness to serve is a powerful example of what it means to care for our communities, especially during some of their hardest moments.

To our drivers and Disaster Relief team members who helped make this response possible, thank you for representing Walmart with compassion, urgency, and heart. GO JB! We are so proud of you!

This is community impact in action. 💙🚛

As Hispanic Heritage Month comes to a close, we took time to celebrate together with a taco bar, great food, conversation, and fellowship. 🌮🎉

Hispanic Heritage Month is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the many contributions Hispanic and Latino communities have made to our workplaces, our communities, our culture, and our country. Their influence can be seen across business, education, the arts, public service, transportation, entrepreneurship, and so many other areas of everyday life.

Here at Walmart Transportation, we are especially grateful for the Hispanic associates and drivers who bring their talent, experience, perspectives, and dedication to our team every day. The different backgrounds and experiences represented across our Walmart family make us stronger.

Thank you to everyone who helped make our celebration special, and to all of our associates who continue to help create a workplace where everyone can contribute, belong, and succeed.

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! 💙💛🌮

What an incredible experience at the B.R.A.K.E.S. Grand Prix at Trackhouse Motorplex in Mooresville, North Carolina. 🏁

As proud supporters of the B.R.A.K.E.S. program, Walmart Transportation had the opportunity to sponsor a team representing our Laurens, Shelby, Pageland, and Wellford Transportation Offices.

Three of our drivers, JB Quarles, Marty Knopf, and Tim Miller, were randomly selected to compete on a Go-Kart team alongside a professional NASCAR driver. The event gave them the chance to race, connect with fellow supporters, and meet some legendary names in motorsports, including Mike Wallace, Rusty Wallace, Kenny Wallace, Kyle Petty, Kurt Busch, and many others.

While the day was full of excitement and unforgettable moments, the real purpose behind the event made it even more meaningful.
Proceeds from the B.R.A.K.E.S. Grand Prix support Be Responsible and Keep Everyone Safe, a program dedicated to providing teens with hands-on defensive driving education and the skills they need to make safer choices behind the wheel.

We are proud of JB, Marty, and Tim for representing Walmart Transportation and even prouder to support a program that helps prepare the next generation of drivers for the road ahead.

What a great evening at the 2026 National Night Out in Simpsonville. 💙

We were proud to spend time at Heritage Park alongside families, community members, local organizations, and the Simpsonville Police Department for an evening focused on connection, partnership, and community.

The smiles in these pictures say it all. From conversations and activities to food, music, and fellowship, it was a wonderful opportunity to step outside of our daily routines and simply connect with the people and communities we serve.

A big thank you to the Simpsonville Police Department and everyone who helped make National Night Out such a welcoming and meaningful event.

At Walmart, showing up for our communities matters, and we are grateful for every opportunity to build relationships, support our neighbors, and make a positive difference together.

🍂🎃 Fall has officially rolled into Transportation, and the creativity is already getting serious!

We’re kicking off the season with our Fall Pumpkin Decorating Contest and Costume Contest, and judging by the early preparation, the competition is going to be strong. One of our drivers is already hard at work on his pumpkin submission, proving that winning takes planning, creativity, and maybe just a little competitive spirit. 😄

All October long, we’re encouraging associates and drivers to have some fun, show off their personality, and help bring a little extra fall energy into the office.

Whether your style is funny, spooky, creative, transportation-themed, or completely out of the box, we want to see it.

And don’t forget the Costume Contest too. Come ready to bring your best look and join in the fun.

Different people. Different ideas. A very talented Transportation team. 🍁🚛🎃
