What a moment for JB Quarles!

Congratulations to JB Quarles on being named the 2026 TDC Grand Champion as the highest scoring overall driver out of 104 competitors, and Step Van Champion. These are incredible accomplishments and a powerful reflection of the excellence he brings every time he gets behind the wheel.

JB’s success is even more impressive when you look at the full picture. Over the course of his career, he has won all 9 classes at the State Truck Driving Championships, a milestone that sets him apart as one of the very best.

And what makes JB even more special is the way he gives back. He has a true passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of drivers, using creative, out of the box thinking to help others prepare for the unexpected and build confidence on the road.

We are proud of JB not just for what he has achieved, but for the way he leads, teaches, and inspires others along the way. Congratulations on a truly outstanding accomplishment.

We are incredibly proud of Team Walmart for an outstanding performance at the South Carolina Truck Driving Championship on 4/25.

Our drivers showed exactly what excellence looks like, earning top honors across multiple classes and proving once again that Walmart is home to some of the safest and most skilled drivers on the road.

Congratulations to JB Quarles on 1st Place in Step Van, Grand Champion, and continuing an incredible legacy by winning every class at the state level. Congratulations as well to Tristan Orosz for earning 2nd Place in Step Van as a rookie, Andrew McCormick for taking 1st Place in 4 Axle as a rookie, Chris Hipps for 2nd Place in 3 Axle, Chris Bracy for 2nd Place in Tank, Terry Todd for 2nd Place in Flatbed, Vincent VanPutten for being named Rookie of the Year, and Brian Smith for earning Best Pre-Trip with an impressive score of 37 out of 38.

We are also proud to celebrate Walmart earning 1st Place in the Team Award category for teams with 10 or more participants.

These achievements reflect the hard work, professionalism, and commitment to safety our drivers bring every single day. Congratulations to all who competed and represented Walmart with pride. Your dedication continues to set the standard for excellence.

What an incredible evening at the Gibbs Cancer Center this past Friday as we came together to celebrate and support Relay For Life.

We are so proud of everyone who volunteered, gave their time, and showed up with such heart for this meaningful event. Your dedication, compassion, and willingness to serve made a real impact and reflected the very best of who we are.

Some days leave a lasting impression, and our time at Victory Junction was one of them.

It was an incredible day of service alongside Walmart associates and leaders who care deeply about giving back and making a difference in the communities we serve. We are grateful for the opportunity to support an organization that creates life-changing experiences for children with serious illnesses and chronic medical conditions.

Victory Junction gives kids a place to build confidence, create memories, and simply enjoy being kids. That mission is powerful, and it is something we are proud to stand behind.

We are also especially proud of our Transportation team for helping support this impact through Miles for Smiles. By turning safe miles into meaningful support, our drivers and associates helped make a difference for children and families in a truly special way.

Days like this are a reminder that service is at the heart of what we do. We are proud to support Victory Junction and honored to be part of something that brings so much joy, hope, and encouragement to others.

What a finish for our March Madness Safety Event at 7123.

After an exciting competition and a strong push all the way to the final days, we ended with an incredible three-way tie. Congratulations to the Wellford Road Warriors, Lords of the Rigs, and The Wellford Watch for rising to the top with outstanding performance, focus, and dedication to safety.

Each team brought their own strengths to the challenge, from solid safety ex*****on to sharp attention to detail and a competitive spirit that never let up. This was one of the closest finishes we have seen, and it speaks volumes about the commitment our drivers show every day.

We also want to recognize everyone who participated. The effort, consistency, and professionalism shown throughout this event made March Madness a success. We are proud of the way our drivers continue to make safety a priority while bringing energy and teamwork to every challenge.

Today was a special day as we celebrated Wellford’s very first A2D graduate! 👏 From our own DC 3010, Brandon has already made a strong impact as an Area Manager, and now he is starting an exciting new chapter as part of the Wellford Driver Team! 🙌

This program is such a powerful reminder of what Walmart is all about, believing in our people, investing in their future, and opening doors to new opportunities. Brandon, we are so proud of you and all you have accomplished! 🌟

We are incredibly proud of our drivers who competed at the Truck Driving Championship Regionals in LaGrange.

Out of more than 2,800 drivers, only 37 earned the opportunity to compete, and Walmart was proudly represented by two of the very best, Brian and JB.

Congratulations to both Brian and JB on qualifying for Walmart Regionals. That alone is an outstanding accomplishment and a reflection of the skill, professionalism, and dedication that define the Walmart Fleet.

A special congratulations to JB for taking 1st place in Sleeper Class, earning a Golden Ticket to Walmart Nationals in Branson, and winning Beat Pre-Trip.

This is what best of the best looks like. Our Walmart drivers continue to raise the bar and represent the fleet with excellence, safety, and pride every mile of the way.
