East-West Gateway is currently updating the region's Long-Range Transportation Plan, which will determine transportation priorities for St. Charles County and the greater STL region over the next 25 years.

Survey results will be used to shape policy in St. Charles, Franklin, Jefferson, and St. Louis Counties as well as the city of St. Louis in Missouri.

The East-West Gateway Council of Governments is seeking input on prioritizing transportation investments in and the greater St. Louis region. PLEASE email MODOT at [email protected] to support full funding for the I-70/I-64 Interchange improvements and lane expansion on I-64 between Route K and I-70. These projects are on the draft list and up for approval at the July MO Highway Commission meeting. The public comment period ends on June 17.

Please email positive comments to [email protected] to ensure this project is approved at the Missouri Highway Commission meeting in July. The 30 day comment period is now open for the MODOT Draft 5 year Highway plan.

Your input makes a difference. MODOT received over 4500 responses to their request for comment. Not only have you provided valuable information as they study the I-70/I-64 interchange improvements, the volume received sends a loud message that this is an important project that the travelling public desires to have funded and completed.
