The Palm Beach Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is the federally designated MPO for Palm Beach County, FL, providing the forum that brings county commissioners, city officials, seaport commissioners and transportation professionals together to implement a safe, efficient, connected, and multimodal transportation system.

We had a great time participating in the 2nd Annual Boca Raton Bike Rodeo in celebration of National Bike Month. Staff shared bicycle safety tips while young cyclists were fitted for helmets, rode interactive courses, built their bike skills, and learned important safety lessons along the way, including how to safely cross railroad tracks while riding a bicycle. Thank you to everyone who came to the Bike Rodeo and stopped by the MPO table! 🚲🌳

Yesterday, the Palm Beach MPO was proud to help plan and coordinate Transportation & Tourism Day for the Leadership Palm Beach County Engage Class of 2026 in partnership with transportation and tourism agencies across the region.

During the day, participants explored transportation and tourism in Palm Beach County, experienced multiple modes of travel firsthand, and visited the Palm Beach MPO for a Transportation Panel featuring industry leaders from Palm Tran, Tri-Rail, Palm Beach County Airports, the Port of Palm Beach, and the Palm Beach MPO.

Thank you to all of our speakers, partners, and attendees for helping make the day such a meaningful opportunity to learn about our community’s transportation network and tourism industry. 🚶🚲🚍🚆⛴️✈️

Yesterday was National Bike & Roll to School Day, a nationwide celebration encouraging students and families to safely bike and roll to school. 🚲🎒🛴

The celebration continues throughout May in recognition of National Bike Month, with 2,169 registered events nationwide, including 53 in Florida and 12 in Palm Beach County. Events can be registered through May 31.
