As a United Express partner, we operate more than 200 daily flights with our fleet of 59 Embraer ERJ145s — linking smaller cities across the country to United Airlines' global network through our hubs at Houston Intercontinental and Washington Dulles. Beyond our United Express flights, we offer charter service aboard our Embraer E170 under the CommuteAir brand. Headquartered in suburban Cleveland, with maintenance hangars in Houston, TX and Albany, NY, we're powered by a team of pilots, flight attendants, mechanics, dispatchers, and ground professionals who live our Core 4 values every day: Safe, Caring, Dependable, Efficient.

Today is , and we're shining a light on CommuteAir Cares. ❤️

CommuteAir Cares is our employee-run nonprofit grant program. Seven employees serve on its Board of Directors. Each month they meet and vote on requests for help from fellow team members and from organizations in the communities we serve.

The program has helped families get back on their feet after hurricanes and helped team members through unexpected financial hardship. It all happens because our C5 Family shows up for one another. ✈️

It also encompasses our giving spirit as a C5 Family in local events throughout the year.

Last weekend, CommuteAir joined veterans, transitioning service members, civilians and military spouses in Orlando for the RTAG - The Veteran to Aviation Charity National Convention.

RTAG is a veteran-run nonprofit that helps veterans of every background start careers in aviation. Our team met with attendees to talk through the paths open at CommuteAir, from pilot and maintenance roles to our Dispatch Pathway Program.

The discipline, the checklists, the teamwork: military experience carries straight into airline work, and you see it every day across the C5 Family.

Wheels up on a new chapter! ✈️

Our ERJ145 just completed its first charter takeoff.

Just days ago, the C5 Family got its first look at this aircraft in CommuteAir livery at our Houston hangar, and today it's already doing what it was built for: getting groups where they need to go.

Thank you to every crewmember, mechanic, dispatcher, and team member who helped make this first flight happen. Together We Soar. 💙

This , we're sharing a note from a customer who noticed something special on board: Flight Attendant Konstantinos speaking with several Spanish-speaking passengers in their own language, making sure everyone felt cared for from boarding to arrival.

As we celebrate , moments like this remind us why "Caring" is part of our core4. Serving every passenger well means meeting them where they are, sometimes in English, sometimes in Spanish.
