Update on the Mike Mills scholarship

1. This scholarship will pay full tuition for one student to attend Pike county CTC EMT program.

2. All applications need to be completed and emailed to [email protected] by april 17, 2026

3. Applications will be reviewed by Cares EMS management and narrowed down to 10 applicants. Then Cares EMS will submit the 10 applications to a board consisting of Mikes family and EMS professionals who are not employed by Cares EMS to make the final decision.

4. The applicant will not be required to work for Cares EMS upon completion of the program.

This scholarship is open to all seniors in Scioto and Pike counties, as well as adults looking to further their education.

Information and application is being sent to all area schools this week. Any non student wanting an application please email me at [email protected]

This year we will be sponsoring “the Mike Mills scholarship”. We will be paying full tuition for one student to attend the Pike county CTC EMT class. This scholarship is open to high school seniors of the 2026 graduating classes in scioto and pike counties. This scholarship is also open to any adult in pike or scioto county. If you would like to apply please email me at [email protected] and i will send you the application. I will also be getting this information out to all the local high schools.

We are looking to hire a medic crew for night shift.
