Have you ever been out of town and someone recognized you because of your job?

Funny story…

I was on my way back from RDU today and stopped in Academy Sports + Outdoors to grab something to drink. While I was standing in line, I heard someone say, “Hey… aren’t you Mr. Give It a Whirl?!”

I laughed and said, “How did you even recognize me?”

He said, “You’ve delivered to me before.”

Moments like that are humbling.

To know people recognize me by what I do—and remember the service we gave them—means more than I can explain. Give It a Whirl has always been bigger than deliveries for me. It’s about reaching people, helping people, and making sure nobody feels like just another number or dollar sign.

That personal connection is why I do this… and why I never want to give it up.

The Gizzard and Livers store, has been a staple in Wilson since 1989, and even when the big companies came knocking they didn’t flinch!! It’s in the Heart of Downtown Wilson on Hines St. next to the NEW Stadium and even the players come over and get food so you know it has to be good!
