The Tallinn tales continue 💛

A new morning, a new start line, and today belongs entirely to the IRONMAN 70.3 Tallinn crew.

There’s 1.9km in the water, 90km on the bike and 21.1km on foot waiting out there, but for everyone lining up this morning, that distance has probably been living in your head for a lot longer than just today.

Training plans, early starts, long weekends, travel, kit, nerves, excitement… all of it has led to this one morning in Estonia.

To our Velo Yelo riders, and to every athlete taking on the 70.3 today, we hope you get a day that feels worth all the effort it took to arrive here.

Race smart, enjoy the good bits, dig in when you need to, and when that finish line finally comes into view, make sure you take that moment in.

Tall tales from Tallinn today! 💛

Months of prep, countless early alarms, long rides, long runs and a frankly unreasonable amount of kit washing, and finally the big day is here.

Today it’s the full IRONMAN Tallinn taking centre stage. A 3.8km swim, 180km on the bike and a marathon between the start line and that finish carpet.

We’ve got plenty of Velo Yelo bikes out there this morning, but now the transporting is very much up to the people riding them 😅

To our Velo Yelo riders, and to every athlete taking on Tallinn today, have an absolute cracker. You’ve put the work in, you’ve made it to Estonia, and now you get the chance to see what all those months have been leading towards.

A massive day ahead. Go enjoy as much of it as you possibly can, look after yourselves out there and we’ll be cheering you all the way to that finish line 💛

Pontevedra is next month now 🇪🇸🌍

The 2026 World Triathlon Championship Finals get underway on 23 September, and we’ll be heading over with bikes for athletes racing at this year’s Worlds.

If you’ve qualified and still need to sort the bike transport, return transport is £325, including collection from home and secure transport in our bespoke system all the way to Spain and back again.

No bike box, no taking the bike apart for the flight and no hauling it through the airport with the rest of your gear. We’ll get it over to Pontevedra ready for race week, then bring it safely home once the racing is done.

Representing your country at a World Championship is a pretty special achievement, so if you’re heading out this September, give Andrew a shout and let us take care of the bike 💛

Not a bad conversation to have in Tallinn today 💛

The head judge at IRONMAN Tallinn came over to thank us for bringing athletes’ bikes across for the race, couldn’t have been more helpful with us, and was already asking whether we could bring even more over next year.

That was lovely to hear, but the timing of the conversation also summed up one of the big reasons people look for another way to get their bikes to race week.

We were told that around 200 passengers’ suitcases had been left behind in England, with people now waiting to find out whether their luggage will make it to Tallinn in time for the race.

Hopefully it gets sorted quickly for everyone affected, because that is the last thing anybody needs after making the trip out for an IRONMAN.

It is also a pretty sharp reminder of the gamble that can come with flying important race kit. Once it disappears through oversized baggage, there is only so much control you have over where it ends up and when.

That is exactly the sort of headache we try to remove for the riders travelling with us.

A big thanks to the team here in Tallinn for making us feel so welcome. By the sounds of it, we might be seeing a fair few more bikes on the trip next year 💛
