Based in Brackenfell Cape Town, Siyabonwa Logistix was started as a
business in May 2009 by Sidwell Pharela and his wife Nonpinkie as a fully black owned entity. Our mission and vision is to consistently grow in our particular niche
market and to become the first choice transporter of local, cross border and long distance bulk and general goods. We have a fully fitted workshop and onsite mechanic,
even though all
our vehicles are under maintenance contracts with the various truck
manufacturers. All our vehicles are linked to on road support via major cities and
larger towns throughout Southern Africa. To climate unnecessary
down time all trucks run on a strict service schedule. All our vehicles are fitted with Digicore SA C Track/ Auto Track tracking
units which provides access to live 24 hour satellite tracking of
vehicles and their locations. We are also extremely conscious of security and safety issues; all our
vehicles are therefore fitted with the latest live feed four way camera
system that provide us with a combination of ‘sight and sound’ video
technology and ongoing web based reporting via Truck Assist Online. This has resulted in our drivers being more disciplined and responsible and has enabled us to implement corrective steps if required. We support various community projects including “1000 woman 1 voice” project, Human Trafficking and Tygerberg High school. From an original 2 truck & trailer combinations fleet, we have grown to a fleet of 34 combinations, consisting of Volvo’s, Scania’s and Mercedes Benz and MAN trucks combining 6/12m tautliner and 6/12m flat deck trailer combinations. We also offer part loads upon request, providing long distance transport solutions to clients that might want to transport a smaller load. All Siyabonwa vehicles are fully equipped to transport dangerous goods. Good service and on time delivery times can only be achieved when your operation is managed and run 24 hours a day, to accomplish this we have no truck in our fleet that is older than 3 years and all trucks are constantly monitored via satellite tracking. As a level 2 BBBEE value added contributor, we are committed to the
principles of empowerment and we consider it as an opportunity to provide excellent value to our client base. As a responsible BEE Compliant company, we are committed to the continued provisions of black empowerment programs in South Africa. Mr Pharela understands the importance of continued empowerment of previously disadvantaged individuals and communities. We provide learnerships to 2 previous disadvantaged individuals on a yearly basis. We also have an in house learnership program, where we empower
workshop personnel to achieve drivers license and their Prpd.
