People are worried about celebrity gossip and drama while I'm worried about food. We are turning into Zimbabwe and I've lived there. I can see the patterns. 2019 in Zimbabwe we had only 3 hours of electricity a day, fuel went up to R70 , Zimbabwean dollar collapsed , country went out of flour, cooking oil and sometimes fuel. It was very bad.
I'm stressed out I can see the same patterns building up here. The difference between here and Zimbabwe is that ,the army and police can control crime that side. As for us. The crime rate will gradually increase, making this country unsafe for all of us. People will be robbing, hijacking, stealing, trafficking women and children, selling body parts etc.
We need to think quickly about solutions. I'm not pessimistic but I'm trying to prepare for the worse outcome while hoping for the best.
Cut your living expenses ASAP. NO need for luxury right now really.
