“We will reroute if there is a problem” is not a logistics plan.
Planned protests on 30 June may disrupt key freight routes in KwaZulu Natal and Gauteng, including routes linked to Durban port, City Deep, Germiston and Beitbridge.
For importers and exporters the risk is practical. Road blockages, route deviations and delayed truck movements can lead to missed delivery windows, storage costs and disruption to production or distribution schedules.
This is the time to review your routing, delivery timing and contingency plan before cargo moves.
If you have freight moving through KZN or Gauteng before or on 30 June, speak to TSI now.
