At Ipelegeng Transport Trust, we recently hosted a meaningful Employee Wellness Day focused on the health and well-being of our team.
We were privileged to welcome the team from Hands of Hope, who provided essential clinical services including screening for chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes. This proactive approach helps our employees better understand and manage their health, ensuring early detection and ongoing care.
We also had Visionweb Optometrists on site, offering professional eye testing services, helping staff identify vision challenges that may affect both their personal well-being and workplace performance.
This initiative reinforced a simple but powerful truth: employee wellness is not a luxury—it is a necessity. Healthy employees are more productive, more engaged, and better equipped to deliver quality service. Investing in wellness also strengthens morale, reduces preventable illness, and builds a more supportive workplace culture.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Hands of Hope and Visionweb Optometrists for their valuable contribution, and to our employees for actively participating in the day.
At Ipelegeng Transport Trust, we remain committed to prioritising the health, safety, and well-being of our people—because our employees are at the heart of everything we do.
