I grew up knowing what it means to survive on kindness.

I was never the kid who had everything figured out. I was the kid who made do. Hand-me-downs. Second chances. Silent prayers before sleeping. I learned early that life doesn’t always fall into place — sometimes it falls apart first.

There were nights when the lights felt too dim and the future felt even darker. Nights when I promised myself that one day, I would break the cycle. One day, I wouldn’t have to depend on miracles shaped like people.

I’m tired.

Tired of trying to build stability out of uncertainty. Tired of watching others move forward while I feel stuck in survival mode. I want money — not for luxury, not for pride — but for peace.
