We are fully licensed by the Zambian Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation Authority for Domestic and International Passenger Charters as well as Aerial Survey work and carry internationally approved liability insurance. Sky Trails offers very competitive charter flights all over Zambia and beyond whether for tourism, business, or other needs. We have blanket clearance to operate flights to or from anywhere in Malawi and can obtain clearance at short notice for flights into Tanzania, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia and beyond.

TOM had a different kind of flight plan. 🚁🐃

Our helicopter joined the capture phase of Operation Return of the Wild in Lower Zambezi National Park, supporting the team working to move 50 Cape buffalo to the Lower Luano Game Management Area.

Buffalo disappeared from Lower Luano after decades of bushmeat poaching. Their return is one step towards restoring wildlife to the landscape and creating lasting value for the communities who live alongside it.

These behind-the-scenes photos captured perfectly by show the people, vehicles, equipment and long hours that make an operation like this possible. We’re proud to have played a part alongside Zambia’s Department of National Parks and Wildlife, the capture team and partners on the ground.
