Specialising in Private Bus Charters for Weddings, University, Local events, Group & LGBTQ+ Outings. North Coast Charters is a locally Owned and Operated Charter & Party Bus Service. We currently only operate with 1x 57 Seat Bus affectionately known as "Vinnie the Volvo". We are fully Accredited with Transport for NSW, Our Accreditation Number is 43302 and are also fully insured with Public Liabily & third Party Property damage. Our current service Area is between Taree and Crescent Head - Charters outside this area are available, Pending on current bookings and availability. Our Services include Wedding Guest Transfers, Party Bus options, Bucks & Hens Parties, Multi Day Charters, Custom Charters and more.

Ok some context to yesterdays run since a few people have asked, We tried to get in contact with the customer for over a week for final details and only got them at 8.30am for a 2pm pick up. While heading into town to refuel turning round at the round about at the donut (port Mac service centre) to enter the service centre. We had an impatient driver come down our left side and clip Vivian’s bumper on the front left, Before abusing us and taking off without exchanging details. Go to pick up guests to find a second bus had also been arranged which everyone got on to go to the venue, So we sat waiting for guests for 45 minutes chasing them down before heading home. We then did the Venue to town run via the pub while the other bus went straight to town, We kept Vivian in town overnight as we finished just after 1am. Did the clean and prep this morning for today’s Wedding pick up at 3pm in Bonny Hills to Herons Creek, Currently at the time of writing this post it’s just gone 11.30pm and are about to do the return run. So It’s been 2 big days but worth it and Vivian will be back at the farm tonight to be prepped for her HVIS on Friday…… Which will include $1400 worth of batteries (just shy of $700 each for decent units).

Who doesn’t love back to back local Weddings, This morning Vivian looked how We felt after yesterday’s run. Time for a clean then off for today’s run. In the end yesterdays run was great, But the lead up was a bit of a nightmare but ended well. Today We’ll be back at Herons Creek, It’s funny how trends change. Crescent Head used to be Our Go to regular for Weddings, Now it seems to be Herons Creek and Cooperabung.

Howdy all, Just a heads up We’re currently up in Queensland. We may or may not be having a short weekend away and checking out a bus or two. We’ll be back in the office Tuesday, So we’ll be back to regular programming soon.

Well We made it just, Despite Vivian being a bit of a ruddy moo today with her batteries not wanting to play. But we won……… 3 booster packs later. And we still got to the Uni on time with Thanks with John (our accountant) and Bernard (owns the property where Vivian’s parked). As for the CSU-SPA students We hope you enjoy your Grad Ball tonight.

Let’s do this: Time for another Local Wedding Run, Then Thursday We’re out with the Uni and then Friday We’re heading north. Last Week We were in Sydney next Weekend We’ll be on the Gold Coast, So We do travel a bit for both personal and business reasons.

Places Everyone: Take 3, No Wedding number 3 in a space of a week being last Saturday to Longpoint Winery. Thursday to Haven Ridge and today We’re still local to another regularly visited local venue, Then Monday We’re off to Sydney for a couple of days.

FUDGE!!! Anyone got a brick wall it’s been one of them days and we’ll own it like a boss……… But at least we got the guests to the venue only a couple of minutes late, instead of the hour we were looking at. Thanks to traffic, Date and times mix up’s etc. After all it’s not the hand of cards your dealt but how you play them that counts.

The poor old gals definitely feeling every one of her 33 years and 1,966,000km, Which is why we’re actively looking for a newer air conditioned seat belted bus. Which will allow us to retire Vivian the Volvo from commercial service and enjoy her on Club / historical rego ourselves, As she’ll definitely need a bit (ok ok a lot) of paint work, New floor coverings and seat upholstery for her to be absolutely mint. On our own personal dollar We’re not to fussed what it costs, But on the business side of it we’d rather invest that cash into a newer better bus. Don’t get us wrong We love Vivian to bits but she ain’t no fresh Swedish meatball.

Let’s do this: Time for another local Wedding Run, At the moment We’ve seemingly settled right into just doing Weddings, Local Uni Runs and the Port Races for a couple of the retirement / over 55’s villages.

Let’s do this, We’re Back at one of Our regular (and favourite) Customer locations. It’s only a short local run tonight for the Paramed ball, While they’re in having Fun Vivian the Volvo and Yours truly will take the opportunity to enjoy a stunning night parked up over looking the Hastings River. We absolutely love what We do, Now Our 2025/26 tax has been done. We’ve made the decision to stay as a Single bus Operator / Sole Trader setup as it’s working for Us better then expected. While also giving Us to be Mumma Bears Disability Carer, We’ll also be making an appearance in Sydney and the Gold Coast on personal trips in Coming Weeks. Vivian’s staying put in Port, But we’re hoping to also have a squiz at a few seat belted air conditioned buses while we have the chance.
