Fergusons The Ferguson Group was established in 1926 by the grandfather of our current executive chairman, Alan Ferguson OBE.

Operating within the transport, logistics, commercial property and storage industries, we are proud to offer a variety of services as the largest privately owned haulier in the North East of England. Over the years of operation we have fought to become the largest privately owned haulier in the North East of England. Having strived to deliver excellence for so many years we are proud to have celebrated our 90th Anniversary of business in 2016. As a business, we operate from several locations throughout the UK and have strategically positioned ourselves near to major cities, which allows quicker and easier access to customers and major transports routes. Fergusons specialise in the areas of Haulage, Warehousing, Logistics, Removals and Self-Storage.

We’re proud to celebrate a century of Fergusons!

From one truck in Blyth in 1926 to the family-run business we are today.

A huge thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey. Here’s to the next chapter! 🎉

A south east Northumberland business has marked its centenary anniversary.

We're delighted to be hosting Fergusons for their 100 year anniversary celebration weekend.

Today there is a selection of their veteran vehicles on the Market Place as well as a brand new Electric haulage truck.

In the Creative Space join us for a beautiful exhibition from the company's archives. It highlights the history of the firm but also photo's, memories and more. If you can't make it today the exhibition will be up for 2 weeks (closed Mondays)

In screen 2 today and running on the hour and the half (last show 5.30pm) there is a 20 minute film about the company. Fergusons are so deeply rooted in the heritage of Blyth but outwardly looking to the future. If you have any connection to the firm or an interest in local history pop on down for the film or exhibition - it's free to attend. Capacity limits in the screen apply

This is a company that has served local people, employed local people and as someone said to me this morning 'Ferguson's Is Blyth'. A massive congratulations on 100 years and here's to the next 100!
