We're delighted to be hosting Fergusons for their 100 year anniversary celebration weekend.
Today there is a selection of their veteran vehicles on the Market Place as well as a brand new Electric haulage truck.
In the Creative Space join us for a beautiful exhibition from the company's archives. It highlights the history of the firm but also photo's, memories and more. If you can't make it today the exhibition will be up for 2 weeks (closed Mondays)
In screen 2 today and running on the hour and the half (last show 5.30pm) there is a 20 minute film about the company. Fergusons are so deeply rooted in the heritage of Blyth but outwardly looking to the future. If you have any connection to the firm or an interest in local history pop on down for the film or exhibition - it's free to attend. Capacity limits in the screen apply
This is a company that has served local people, employed local people and as someone said to me this morning 'Ferguson's Is Blyth'. A massive congratulations on 100 years and here's to the next 100!
