We were excited to welcome all 32 Coca-Cola Consolidated and Red Classic summer interns to our headquarters this week!

The group got an inside look at who we are, what we do, and how our transportation and logistics teams help keep products moving every day. They even had the opportunity to sit in one of our trucks and see the operation from a driver's perspective. 🚛

Thanks for spending the day with us! We loved sharing what makes Red Classic such an important part of the Coca-Cola Consolidated family.

🚨 North Carolina's best truck technician works at Red Classic. 🚨

Congratulations to Maintenance Technician Al Whitley, from Clayton, NC, for winning the 2026 North Carolina Trucking Association Top Tech Challenge! Competing against the state's top commercial vehicle technicians, Al demonstrated the knowledge, diagnostic expertise, and hands-on skills that earned him the championship title.

Next stop: American Trucking Associations 21st Annual TMCSuperTech National Technician Skills Competition, in Pittsburgh, PA, where Al will represent North Carolina against the best technicians in the country. Incredible!

That's our girl! 💪❤️👏

One of our stellar Driver Managers, and former driver herself, Stephanie Boyette currently serves as Secretary of the North Carolina Trucking Association's Women in Trucking Council and recently visited our state capitol to meet with legislators. She and the rest of the Council and NCTA staff members discussed issues affecting drivers and transportation companies and engaged in conversations about legislation and initiatives shaping the future of the trucking industry.

Stephanie, thank you for representing Red Classic, drivers everywhere, and especially women in trucking. Your service is impactful, inspiring and deeply appreciated.

A big congratulations to our Red Classic drivers who competed in the 2026 North Carolina Trucking Association Truck Driving Championship this weekend! 🚛🏆

This annual event brings together professional drivers from across the state to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in areas like vehicle inspection, safety regulations, and precision driving maneuvers - all designed to reflect the real-world expertise required on the road every day.

We’re proud to celebrate the retirement of a very special driver - Jimmy Dunlap - after an incredible 45 years with the Coca-Cola Consolidated / Red Classic family.

For more than four decades, Jimmy built a reputation for doing things the right way. He never cut corners, always treated others with respect, and was always willing to help however he could.

The people who worked alongside him describe him as dedicated, committed, and an example to others.
