We’re proud to celebrate the retirement of a very special driver - Jimmy Dunlap - after an incredible 45 years with the Coca-Cola Consolidated / Red Classic family.

For more than four decades, Jimmy built a reputation for doing things the right way. He never cut corners, always treated others with respect, and was always willing to help however he could.

The people who worked alongside him describe him as dedicated, committed, and an example to others.

Thank you, Jimmy, for the years of hard work, leadership, and steady example you set every day. From all of us at RCT, we're wishing you a well-earned and happy retirement! 🚛

48 years. Let that sink in. 👏

After an incredible career spanning nearly five decades, one of our drivers, Wayne McMahan, is retiring from the Coca-Cola Consolidated / Red Classic family. Wayne began his journey in Knoxville on June 9, 1978, and has been a steady, dependable presence ever since.

Known for his consistency, positive attitude, and willingness to step in whenever needed, Wayne never hesitated to go the extra mile (sometimes literally), always showing up with a good attitude and getting the job done right - even when called on in the middle of a shift or to help recover a load.

A role model to so many of our drivers, he’s set the standard for professionalism and doing things the right way.

If you ask around, you’ll hear the same three words: friendly, dependable, and good-humored.

Please join us in wishing Wayne a happy retirement and thanking him for an incredible 48 years of service. 🚛👏

Two of our Regional Safety and Operations Managers represented the team at the 2026 Virginia Trucking Association Safety & HR Conference in Charlottesville, VA.

Conferences like this keep us at the forefront of industry best practices, emerging regulations, and innovative strategies that protect our drivers, our customers, and the communities we serve. When our leaders learn, our entire organization gets stronger.

Some of the team attended the 12th Annual Charlotte Mayor’s Masked Ball, a fundraising gala presented by Coca-Cola Consolidated, in support of UNCF Charlotte’s mission to break down financial barriers and provide scholarships for deserving students across North Carolina.

A night well spent with a community showing up for the next generation of leaders.🎭💫

A little Augusta spirit here in Charlotte last week at our Third Annual Red Classic Masters Tournament. 🌸 ⛳🏆

No azaleas in the auditorium, but we did have pimento cheese, chicken salad, and Arnold Palmers to set the scene.

The winning team earned highly coveted Masters-green Red Classic pullovers - only available if you take first place. Til next year!
