Remember those steers we purchased at the Hancock County Fair? 🐮

Well, we’re excited to share that this story has officially come full circle!

Earlier this fall, Ohio Logistics purchased steers raised by local 4-H students, supporting the hard work, dedication, and commitment these young people put into raising their animals.

But we had something else in mind, too!

After purchasing the steers, we covered the cost of processing the beef and recently delivered the meat to our friends at Findlay Hope House, where it will help support local women, children, and families.

We know this donation will help provide nutritious food for the individuals and families served by Hope House, and that's what it's all about.

And none of it would be possible without the hard work of our Ohio Logistics associates and the customers who continue to put their trust in us.

We’re grateful to be able to turn that success into opportunities to give back to the communities we call home.

We made a new friend at BGSU yesterday. Meet Hannah! 🤖👋

Dave Uncapher, Liz Witt, and Jason Black represented Ohio Logistics at the BGSU Advanced Manufacturing Summit, where conversations about innovation, technology, and the future of manufacturing took center stage.

As manufacturing continues to evolve, so do the logistics, warehousing, and transportation solutions needed to support it.

Events like this are a great opportunity to connect with industry leaders, explore emerging technologies, and learn more about what’s ahead for businesses throughout Northwest Ohio and beyond.

Thanks to Bowling Green State University for bringing together the people and ideas helping move our region forward!

MEET THE TEAM: Emily Brose 🚛

New role. New responsibilities. And a whole lot of moving pieces!

Emily has stepped into a new role with our transportation team at Ohio Logistics, where no two days look quite the same.

From tracking driver locations and arrival times to coordinating schedules around customer orders, finding backhauls to get drivers home, and helping troubleshoot issues along the way, Emily helps keep our trucking operations moving.

Her favorite part? The puzzle!

“If one little thing changes, your whole schedule may need to change, and it is like solving a puzzle.”

It’s a fast-paced environment, and Emily loves it!

But what makes the job even better is the team around her. She says everyone works together toward a common goal, supports one another, and shares plenty of laughs along the way.

We’re excited to see Emily continue to grow at Ohio Logistics and appreciate the important role she plays in supporting our drivers and customers.

1,500 pounds of food, and a whole lot of kindness!

That’s what our friends at United Way of Fostoria collected to help stock local food resources, and we’re proud that Ohio Logistics associates were part of the effort. 💪

A big THANK YOU to Grace, Hope, and Felix for volunteering their time to help make a difference in our community.

The food collected was distributed to 10 local Blessing Boxes, Pantry Plus, Fostoria City Schools, and several community care closets, helping make food more accessible to our neighbors who need it.

We’re grateful for community partners like United Way of Fostoria who bring people together to do good, and for our associates who are always willing to lend a hand.

More than 20 years of dedication, countless memories, and one incredible career in logistics!

Today, we’re celebrating the retirement of someone who has been a valued part of Ohio Logistics: Carl Brown

Carl joined Ohio Logistics in 2003 and has served as Putnam County Operations Manager at our Ottawa, Ohio facility. He has been an integral part of our company’s growth, the relationships we’ve built, and the everyday work that keeps our customers moving.

While we’re excited for Carl as he begins this next chapter, it’s never easy saying goodbye to someone who has been such a meaningful part of the team.

Carl, thank you for your years of service, your leadership, and the time and dedication you’ve invested in Ohio Logistics and the people around you!

A bird’s-eye view of what’s next for Ohio Logistics in Lima, Ohio! 🚧

The progress continues at our newest warehouse development along Commerce Parkway, near I-75 in Allen County, Ohio.
These updated drone photos give you a look at the construction taking shape as we prepare to expand our warehousing and distribution capabilities in Northwest Ohio.

This project includes:
▫️A new 100,000-square-foot speculative warehouse facility
▫️Convenient access to I-75 and major Midwest transportation corridors
▫️Additional warehousing, distribution, and logistics opportunities for manufacturers and businesses throughout the region
▫️A planned opening in 2027

And this is just the beginning!
The development is planned to include a second 100,000-square-foot building as demand grows.

As Ohio Logistics continues to expand its network of warehousing, transportation, and third-party logistics (3PL) solutions, we're excited to invest in infrastructure that supports our customers and the continued growth of the Lima and Allen County business community.

MEET THE TEAM: Maxwell Downing 👋

If you’ve recently applied for a job at Ohio Logistics, there’s a good chance you’ve already met Max!

As our HR Recruiter, Maxwell Downing focuses on talent acquisition and connecting job seekers with opportunities throughout Ohio Logistics. For Max, one of the best parts of the job is getting to meet new people, build relationships, and work alongside a team he genuinely enjoys.

What has stood out to him about Ohio Logistics? The investment in people.

We sat down with Jason Black, our Director of Business Development, and asked what has impressed him most since joining Ohio Logistics just nine months ago.

His answer paints a pretty good picture of who we are and where we’re headed!

✔️Scale: A logistics network built to serve customers across multiple markets.

✔️Capabilities: Trucking, 3PL and warehousing supporting food grade products, manufacturing materials, personal products, automotive and white goods.

✔️Growth: We’re continuing to expand, with two new sites expected to open in early 2027.
