We had the honor of driving some of the beagles recently released from Ridglan Farms in Marshall, Wisconsin.

These gentle dogs were finally stepping into sunlight, grass, and safety after years in a research breeding facility. Watching them experience freedom for the first time was emotional and unforgettable.

Their release is part of a larger rescue effort involving approximately 1,500 beagles, made possible through a collaborative agreement with animal welfare organizations. Many are now on their way to rescues and shelters across the country where they will receive medical care and begin the journey toward adoption.

The story behind this rescue is difficult, and the conditions these dogs came from have been widely reported. This article explains more about the history and concerns surrounding the facility:

Today, though, we choose to focus on hope—on soft paws touching grass for the first time, on wagging tails, and on second chances finally beginning.

We had the opportunity to drive for Diamond Tours and made a stop at Cook's Bison Ranch in Wolcottville, IN — what an experience! Up close encounters you don’t get every day.

We might’ve just hired our youngest employee yet… 🧼🚌😄

Brought my 3-year-old son to the shop today and he jumped right in helping wash buses like he’s been on payroll for years. No breaks, big smiles, and working for snacks only, honestly, not a bad deal!

Now I’m just wondering… will he still be here at 16 when we REALLY need the help? Or is this his early retirement tour? 😂

Either way, I’ll take all the help I can get while it lasts. Gotta start ’em young!
