For our founders, Scott and Vanessa, Western Sky Helicopters represents a lifelong passion brought to life.

Their love for aviation began long before they opened our doors. Vanessa discovered her passion for aviation during her very first helicopter flight at just 15 years old, while Scott was raised in an aviation family and has spent more than three decades flying helicopters across Arizona. Together, they've built Western Sky with the hope of sharing the beauty of Arizona from above, creating experiences guests will remember for a lifetime, and hopefully inspiring the next generation to discover aviation, just as they did.

Nearly two decades later, Scott and Vanessa are still amazed by what Western Sky has become. They feel incredibly fortunate to have built a family business centered around meaningful experiences, and they look forward to continuing that journey with guests for many years to come!
