The new Route #4 will deliver frequent, reliable service every 15 minutes connecting some of Louisville’s most important destinations and neighborhoods.

From Downtown and Broadway to Old Louisville, UofL, and Churchill Downs, Route #4 will keep you connected all day long. The route will also serve Beechmont, Southside, Iroquois, Kenwood, Auburndale, and Outer Loop.

Whether you’re commuting to work, heading to class, visiting family, or exploring the city, Route #4 will make getting around Louisville easier than ever. 🌆

TARC, the Portland Museum, and JCPS unveil the 2026 Design-a-Bus winners with a brand-new student-designed bus wrap inspired by the theme “Portals of Transition.”

Ten student artists create artwork reflecting moments of growth, change, and new experiences. Their winning designs travel across Louisville on a custom TARC bus for the next year, appearing on routes, at special events, and in parades.

The bus debuted at the Portland Museum, celebrating creativity, community, and the next generation of Louisville artists.
