Changing fuel suppliers affects more than just pricing. Compliance standards, delivery reliability, and how quickly your account manager picks up the phone all follow you into the new contract.

Unitrans supplies bulk fuel across aviation, marine, and commercial sectors. Our clients see fewer operational disruptions, lower incident risk, and more predictable scheduling because our operations teams and safety culture are built into daily practice, not bolted on for audits.

We've built long-term relationships across these sectors on the back of a track record that's measurable, not just claimed.

If your current fuel supply arrangement isn't working as well as it should, send us a message and let's talk through what better looks like for your operation.

Africa’s roads, ports, and regulatory systems are under constant pressure, and every delay, detour, and disruption is felt by the businesses moving goods across the continent.

Episode 6 Part 1 of the Unitrans Podcast goes straight into the reality of infrastructure, regulation, and what meaningful logistics reform in Africa actually looks like in practice. Host Fransisco sits down with Gareth Jones, Unitrans Executive: Consumer, and Gavin Kelly, CEO of the Road Freight Association, for a candid discussion on where the real bottlenecks sit, how industry and government can better align, and what progress looks like from the ground up.

40 years ago, Noddy Ramroop joined Unitrans.

Today, Noddy is Head of Business Development. The journey between those two points has taken him through more chapters of this industry than many people will ever see.

Noddy has never stayed still. He's worked across different parts of the business, relocated to Head Office in Cape Town in 2004, and built a reputation in the fuel sector for doing the hard things well. When Unitrans made the call to take on facility and stock management in fuel, a move that carried real risk, Noddy was part of making it work. That decision opened up an entirely new dimension of what Unitrans could offer its customers.

For Noddy, growth means knowing the market deeply, staying close to the customer, and being ready to move when the opportunity arrives.

Away from work, he's an avid gardener, a weekend cook, a devoted Liverpool supporter, and someone who reads widely and stays sharp on everything happening in the industry and the world.

Forty years, Noddy. Congratulations.

Thirty-five years ago, CJ Myeni walked onto a Unitrans depot as a Tyre Attendant. Few people could have mapped out where that first day would lead.

By 1993 he was behind the wheel, running superlink, rigid, and tri-axle trucks across demanding routes. In 2005, a serious accident brought that chapter to a close. Management supported him through his recovery, and when the time was right, he found a new footing in the Control Room. Fleet Controller since 2016, he now trains the next generation of general workers in everything from roster management to tanker procedures.

The clients notice. Feedback on the depot consistently highlights its cleanliness and discipline. CJ's explanation is straightforward: look after each other and follow the safety rules.

Off the clock, he's an Orlando Pirates and Liverpool supporter, a gardener, and a regular at church. His surname traces back to Obonjeni, near Jozini in KwaZulu-Natal, a part of the world he remains deeply connected to.

Congratulations, CJ. Thirty-five years, and a good examples of what growth at Unitrans looks like.

We're proud to share that Unitrans has achieved Blue status in Astron Energy's BRAG framework, recognised through the Astron Energy Fleet Transportation Awards in the Hauler Special Awards category.

The BRAG framework measures operational health across five areas: customer experience, compliance, safety, commercial performance, and people. Blue is the top tier, and it isn't earned in a single strong month. Our team has achieved Blue tier across all five categories.

From the way our drivers handle safety on the road, to how the team engages with customers and upholds Astron Energy's standards on the ground, this recognition belongs to our team.

To everyone who contributed to this, well done. This one is yours.

If you're looking for a logistics partner with a proven safety and compliance record, let's talk.

Mining logistics moves fast, and inefficiency shows up quickly in the numbers.

Episode 5 of our podcast looks at how precision planning and smarter technology are changing what's possible in mining transport. We get into payload optimisation, route planning, and why reducing emissions in this sector starts with better operations, not just different fuels.

If you work in mining and have been thinking about where your logistics operation could be more efficient, this episode is for you.

Winnie Dibetle has been part of the Unitrans family for 25 years, and she's not slowing down.

Winnie started as an Admin Clerk and worked her way through Cashbook and Creditors before settling into her current role in Finance. The work she does every day, making sure invoicing is accurate and customers aren't left waiting, helps keep everything else moving.

Ask Winnie what makes Unitrans a good place to build a career and she'll tell you it's transparency, open communication, and teamwork.

When she's not at her desk, Winnie is cheering on Sundowns, playing netball, or sitting down to a plate of mogodu, pap, and cabbage. She's a very bubbly person who'll strike up a conversation with just about anyone, and a dedicated R&B and soul music fan.

Her advice to anyone starting out is to understand your team, communicate openly, and never stop learning.

Congratulations, Winnie. Twenty-five years well lived.
