On June 16, 1976, the courageous youth of Soweto Uprising stood up against injustice and many paying the ultimate price in the streets of Soweto. We honour their bravery, their voices, and the legacy they left behind.

To the families who lost loved ones, we stand with you in remembrance, to some of us the sacrifice continues.
